The Chicago Bears confirmed and elaborated on what was reported last night and it’s now official. General manager Ryan Pace will return for his seventh season with the franchise, head coach Matt Nagy will return for his fourth year, and team president and CEO Ted Phillips is back for his twenty-second year in that role and his twenty-eighth year with the franchise overall.
Chairman George McCaskey will obviously continue in his role for a tenth year.
I understand the value in having continuity in a business, but the Bears haven’t won a playoff game since the 2010 season.
