The Bears talked a big game last offseason when planning out Caleb Williams’ development.
This year, money talks.
General manager Ryan Poles made his latest big-money move to protect the Bears’ quarterback Monday, agreeing to sign former Falcons center Drew Dalman on the first day that agents and teams were allowed to negotiate contracts. When he signs his deal Wednesday, Dalman will earn $42 million over three years, a source confirmed, making him the second-highest-paid center in the NFL.
The 26-year-old Dalman was picked in the fourth round of the 2021 draft out of Stanford.
