D’oh and 2: Bears shock even themselves in awful loss to Eagles

The Bears continued their non-violent protest of home games Monday night, dropping a 29-14 nail-biter to the Philadelphia Eagles at Soldier Field.

Chicago’s most depressing franchise north of the White Sox and east of the Bulls dropped to 3-14 at home over the past two-plus seasons. Owning Bears season tickets is such a waste of money, Mayor Daley and Mayor Emanuel are fighting to take credit for this transparent graft.

John Fox had some ugly losses in his first season as Bears head coach — Bow your heads in memoriam for the Jimmy Clausen game in Seattle — but this game was as unwatchable as any at the end of the Marc Trestman mini-series.
