Does Louisville's Sheldon Rankins make sense for Bears on Day 1?

Less than a month until the draft kicks off in Chicago, Kevin Weidl from Scouts Inc. compiled a list of three draft prospects who make sense for the Chicago Bears.

On Day 1, Weidl targets Louisville defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins, who had 58 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and six sacks for the Cardinals last year. Some scouts view Rankins as versatile enough to play in a 3-4 or 4-3.

The choice for the Bears on Day 2 is Stanford guard Josh Garnett, who won the Outland Trophy as the nation’s top interior lineman.
