David Montgomery expected to miss 2-4 weeks with groin injury

The news could've been a lot worse for Bears running back David Montgomery, who slipped and fell to the ground during Wednesday's training camp practice in obvious pain.

Coach Matt Nagy told reporters after practice concluded that the injury was a groin strain and that Montgomery would undergo additional tests to determine if, and for how long, he'll be sidelined.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, those tests have been conducted and the results are in: Montgomery is expected to miss two to four weeks.

#Bears starting RB David Montgomery, who went down in practice yesterday with a groin injury, is expected to be out 2-4 weeks, source said.
