Danny Trevathan named NFC defensive Player of the Week

With winning and domination comes accolades. It seems like it’s been a while since a Bears player was winning one of the weekly awards, but such is life when the team is winning just a handful of games per year.

Following a dominating defensive performance, inside linebacker Danny Trevathan has been named Defensive Player of the Week, according to the Chicago Bears official Twitter.

Trevathan led the Bears with eight tackles, two sacks, a tackle for loss, a forced fumble and two QB hits.

On a night where once again the talk was all about Khalil Mack, Trevathan somehow missed a lot of the glory but he absolutely balled out.
