INDIANAPOLIS -- Wins have been elusive for general manager Ryan Pace and John Fox since they arrived in Chicago two years ago. Back-to-back last place finishes invite questions about the validity of plan and how long it's going to take to bear fruit.
When the two were brought into Chicago, the team had bottomed out from a leadership perspective. Head coach Marc Trestman never engendered trust or accountability and the locker room ran amok. His teams had more than enough talent to compete, they simply didn't have a coach who provided the consistency and dependability that successful organizations do.
