It’ll take until at least Friday to get clarity on Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels’ status for Sunday against the Bears, but the team held him out of practice Wednesday.
Daniels left the Commanders’ win over the Panthers last week because of a rib injury and was replaced by veteran Marcus Mariota. He would start against the Bears if Daniels remains out.
“We want to make sure he can fully express himself and do all the things that he does,” coach Dan Quinn said of Daniels, who will be in meetings and get treatment.
