Not many were expecting the Chicago Bears to take a wide receiver this weekend in the 2019 NFL draft. However, they found themselves enamored with Riley Ridley and got their man in the fourth round. On top of that, one of the most noted UDFAs in the class, Emanuel Hall signed with the Chicago Bears.
The Bears now added two wide receivers who could make the roster. They also signed Cordarelle Patterson and Marvin Hall this offseason. Patterson can be argued as a running back/receiver in his versatility, but the team also added David Montgomery and Kerrith Whyte this weekend.
