The Chicago Bears have made a few minor roster moves in the last couple of days. On Monday, they put defensive end Cornelius Washington on IR with a quad injury and re-signed outside linebacker Sam Acho, who was cut the week before following a bout with a mystery illness. Yesterday, they waived third string quarterback David Fales and today they signed former Titans/Raiders/Cowboys defensive end Lavar Edwards. From the Bears press release:
Edwards has appeared in 11 contests with one start over two seasons in Tennessee (2013) and Dallas (2014), recording 10 tackles – including one TFL – and one pass break-up.
