The big news coming out of Halas Hall today was starting right guard Kyle Long back at practice, albeit limited. Last week he spent some time in a walking boot to ease his strained calf, but today he was back and fired up, bouncing around to Warren G’s Regulate.
The Chicago Bears could ill afford an injury to their starting offensive line as the depth at that position is shaky at best.
In other injury news, tight end Zach Miller and wide out Eddie Royal were both held out with concussion symptoms again. Other Bears missing practice were inside linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski, corner Brandon Boykin, outside linebacker Roy Robertson-Harris and tight end Ben Braunecker.
