The Chicago Bears safety corps may have finally found an identity in 2017 that it can bring into 2018. And it likely is not what the team had in mind when they came into the season.
Eddie Jackson led the entire defense in snaps played as a rookie. He had a pretty good year as well. That is a big sign for things to come. Jackson had 70 tackles, two interceptions, a forced fumble, a sack, and a touchdown on the defensive side of the ball. He also had two returns in the punt game.
Adrian Amos was not too far behind Jackson, playing in over two-thirds of the teams defensive snaps.
