The Chicago Bears and chief contract negotiator Cliff Stein have gotten the reputation for being lightning quick in signing their rookies to contracts. With rookie minicamp less than a week away, Stein got to work and inked three Bears draft picks to 4-year contracts. It started with 6th rounder, offensive tackle Tayo Fabuluje, then 5th round selection safety Adrian Amos and 4th round pick running back Jeremy Langford fell in line.
Fabuluje is a developmental project at offensive tackle, selected in the 6th round out of TCU. If he can keep his weight under control, Fabuluje could compete for reps at right tackle.
