The Chicago Bears announced several moves to their offseason roster, first of which is the addition of veteran offensive lineman Taylor Boggs. Last year, Boggs was with the Arizona Cardinals, and he appeared in five games with two starts. In 2014, he was with the Detroit Lions, appearing in two games. He was with the Bears from 2012-2013, appearing in five games. Boggs was coached by new Bears o-line coach, Jeremiah Washburn, when both were in Detroit.
Boggs has most experience at center, but he has also played guard. He’ll try and battle it out for a backup interior role with Eric Kush, Hroniss Grasu, Cornelius Edison, Cyril Richardson, and rookie Jordan Morgan.
