Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Pace wasted no time adding some much-needed veteran experience to the roster after the conclusion of the 2016 NFL Draft. The Bears have signed quarterback Brian Hoyer to a one-year deal worth $2 million. The eight-year veteran will be the fourth quarterback on the Bears’ roster, along with Jay Cutler, David Fales, and Matt Blanchard.

This signing comes as a sigh of relief for many Bears fans (including myself), especially after seeing who Chicago had as backups to Cutler going into 2016.
