The Chicago Bears are not messing around. GM Ryan Pace has been on a huge preseason spending spree. Less than a week after trading for outside linebacker Khalil Mack and subsequently signing him to a monster contract extension including no less than $90 million in guaranteed money, the Bears have reached agreement on a contract extension with nose tackle Eddie Goldman.
The Bears did not disclose terms, but according to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, it’s a four-year extension worth $42 million with $25 million in guaranteed money that will keep Goldman in the middle of the Bears defensive line through 2022.
