The Chicago Bears have signed linebacker Danny Mason and veteran offensive lineman Garry Williams. The Bears waived Mason in May after he spent time on their practice squad in 2015. He also spent a little time with the Denver Broncos last year.
Mason is a 6’3”, 235 pound outside linebacker that played his college ball at Texas A&M-Commerce. He also played in the Indoor Football League for the Texas Revolution and the Colorado Ice.
Williams (6’3”, 315) has played in 41 games with 21 starts over five seasons with the Carolina Panthers from 2009-14. Most of his time was spent at right guard and right tackle.
