Early in the season, and last year for that matter, Chicago Bears’ quarterback Mitchell Trubisky had a case of happy feet. He’d get flustered when pressured, and he’d take off instead of trusting his pass protection to hold for a split second more in order to deliver a strike. As this season has progressed, his comfort in the offense has grown, and he’s playing much better from the pocket.
Trubisky is not only one of the least sacked QBs, 9th fewest this year, but Chicago’s sack percentage is also in the top half of the league, 12th overall, and the Bears are tied for the third fewest QB hits allowed so far with 35.
