Chicago Bears re-sign defensive lineman Mitch Unrein to a 2 year contract

The Chicago Bears have brought back defensive lineman Mitch Unrein on a 2 year deal. Last season Unrein played in all 16 games, 2 with the San Diego Chargers and 14 with the Bears. He only played 13 total snaps with the Chargers (2 on D, 11 on special teams), only making one tackle before being released.

But with the Bears he totaled 527 snaps, playing 7 on offense as a fullback, 141 on special teams and 379 on defense. He racked up 32 tackles, one sack, two tackles for loss, one pass defense and six QB pressures for Chicago.
