The Chicago Bears have re-signed two players today, restricted free agent Connor Shaw and exclusive rights free agent Patrick Scales. With Shaw re-signing today, the Chicago Bears now have two quarterbacks on the roster, joining the likely-to-be-gone Jay Cutler.
The Bears have been linked (i.e. rumored) to just about every available quarterback in the last few weeks (Tony Romo, Jimmy Garoppolo, Mike Glennon, etc.) and they’ve met or will meet with just about every top QB prospect at the NFL Combine.
Shaw’s only NFL action came as a rookie in 2014 when he started the season finale with the Cleveland Browns.
