The Chicago Bears have announced that they have re-signed offensive lineman Bradley Sowell to a two year contract.
Sowell was signed as a back up tackle last offseason, but he showed the ability to back up at guard in 2018 as well. He played all 16 games last year with two starts, with 299 snaps on offense and 50 more snaps on special teams.
Even though he played the seventh most snaps among their offensive linemen, he tied for fourth most penalties on the team with six.
He originally entered the league as an undrafted rookie with the Indianapolis Colts in 2012.
