So last night was pretty fun for us Chicago Bears’ fans. For the first time in a while, there’s a rookie that has captured our excitement. Mitchell Trubisky came into the game to run the two-minute drill at the end of the first half, and Soldier Field immediately started to buzz. Then he threw his first pass — a short out to tight end Adam Shaheen — and the electricity intensified. Sure, technically, it was an incomplete pass, but the record books will indicate that there was a Denver penalty that negated the play.
