The Chicago Bears reported for training camp today, with their first practice slated for tomorrow morning, but they will be without three players. They have announced that outside linebacker Pernell McPhee, offensive lineman Amini Silatolu and wide receiver Marquess Wilson will all begin camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
McPhee has been rehabbing his left knee after having arthroscopic surgery in February, and Bears' general manager Ryan Pace says it's too early to tell if he will play in the preseason. McPhee is down about 10 pounds from last year to try and alleviate some pressure off his knee.
