In news that really is not too surprising when you think about, Dowell Loggains has willfully left the Chicago Bears to be a member of the Miami Dolphins coaching staff. He will retain his same title as offensive coordinator.
This is no surprise given the climate in Chicago. Loggains was hired by John Fox. He served for one season as a quarterbacks coach behind Adam Gase in Chicago. When the team interviewed Vic Fangio, and did not interview him he knew his days were limited.
The Bears were set to either hire an offensive mind, who would bring in his own staff, or promote Fangio, and try to lure in a big name offensive coordinator to run the show while Fangio held down the defense.
