To re-sign Schofield, Chicago placed OL Alex Leatherwood on the NFI List as he’s come down with mononucleosis, aka mono, according to Matt Eberflus. Leatherwood will miss the next 4 weeks with the illness, but Eberflus says “we feel great about where he is and him coming back” at some point during the 2022 NFL Season.
