As the Chicago Bears disappointing season came to a close, it was not shocking to hear the media ask some hard questions regarding Mitchell Trubisky and his performance in 2019. Ryan Pace led most of the press conference and the two words he used the most to describe this season was regression and inconsistency.
Pace used the same words when describing Trubisky’s performance, but he made it clear that Trubisky is going to be the starting quarterback in 2020. This should not shock anyone even with Trubisky’s poor performance. Pace has confidence in not only Matt Nagy, but also in Trubisky.
