The Chicago Bears revealed the best possible news earlier today in regards to Leonard Floyd’s knee. After being carted off the field yesterday following a collision with teammate Kyle Fuller, the Bears’ feared the worst. But earlier this afternoon, head coach John Fox told the media that, "to our knowledge, at this point” there is no ACL tear for Floyd.
There are still more tests that Floyd must undergo, and Fox wouldn’t entirely rule out a tear, but for now, news is good out at Halas Hall. Floyd will still miss some time, perhaps even the remaining six games, but for now, Robert Zeglinski can breathe a little easier.
