Chicago Bears hire ex-Tulane Head Coach Curtis Johnson as wide receivers coach

The Chicago Bears have finally hired a wide receivers coach, tabbing 54 year old Curtis Johnson, who was most recently working as a Senior Wide Receivers Assistant for the New Orleans Saints.

From 2012 to 2015 Johnson was the head coach at Tulane University compiling a 15-34 overall record, with his best season coming in 2013 when he led the Green Wave to a 7-5 record before losing in the New Orleans Bowl. It was their first Bowl appearance in 11 years.

Prior to his head coaching stint, Johnson was a long time WR coach with a resume going all the way back to 1984 at Idaho's Lewiston High School.
