Chicago Bears hire Ben McDaniels as an offensive assistant

According to Sports Illustrated, the Chicago Bears have hired Ben McDaniels as an offensive coaching assistant. If his name sounds familiar, that's because he is the younger brother of New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.

Ben McDaniels, 35 years old, was the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach of Rutgers in 2015 after being their wide receivers coach the previous season. In 2012 and 2013 he was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an offensive assistant and during the 2013 season, he helped guide rookie QB Mike Glennon to the best passer rating among rookies that year.
