About a half an hour after the Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs reported that the Chicago Bears were going to sign tight end Tony Moeaki, Biggs reported that the Bears were also inking defensive lineman Marquis Jackson.
Jackson, like Moeaki, was in this week on a try out basis and the 6’4”, 255 pounder must have done enough to impress the coaching staff. Marquis is the twin brother of Malik Jackson who just signed a gigantic free agent deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The newest Bear played his college ball at Portland State after transferring from Texas Southern.
