Earlier today the Chicago Bears made a couple roster moves. First, they elevated inside linebacker Lamin Barrow to the active roster from the practice squad. And to make room for Barrow, they terminated the contract of vested veteran Sam Acho.
Acho was already ruled out for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers with an illness, an illness that has kept him away from practice for a couple weeks. The Bears' never announced any specifics of the illness, other to say that it wasn't contagious. Acho looked good in camp and preseason at outside linebacker, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him return at some point.
