The Chicago Bears have a few roster moves in the works that affect the tight end position.
Zach Miller, who was injured catching what should have been a touchdown against the New Orleans Saints, will soon be placed on ending injured reserve. And as an FYI, Miller was released from the New Orleans hospital where they saved his leg, and he’s now back in Chicago on the road to recovery.
To take his place on the active roster, the Bears will be promoting tight end Ben Braunecker (per Jason La Canfora) from their practice squad.
