On Tuesday, the NFL announced that rookie Tayo Fabuluje was suspended for four games for violating the league’s PED policy. On Thursday we learned that DE Ego Ferguson has joined him on that same suspended list.
The suspension for Ferguson will begin immediately. Ferguson was placed on season-ending IR in October with a knee injury so the LSU-product won’t actually miss any time due to the suspension. Ferguson will still be suspended without pay, which means the second-year defensive lineman will lose nearly $200,000 for his violation.
There has been no statement from Ferguson nor has there been any indication as to what type of banned substance Ferguson may have taken.
