The Bears have parted ways with Eddie Royal after two seasons with the team. Frequently dealing with injuries, he appeared in only nine games each season.
Royal graded below average in each of his two seasons, with a 51.4 overall PFF grade in 2015 and a 64.3 grade in 2016. He averaged a yearly grade of 69.0 with the Broncos and a 74.9 with the Chargers before his 57.9 average with the Bears.
Kendall Wright, whom the Bears signed this offseason presumably as Royal’s replacement, has been more consistent recently, averaging a yearly grade of 73.
