Mitch Trubisky is likely not returning to the Chicago Bears
The final weeks of the season it seemed that Mitchell Trubisky was saving his job with the Chicago Bears. He had just scored more than 30 points in four consecutive games for the first time since 1965. Granted, it was against average-to-below-defenses, but Trubisky still lit them up. Plus, two of those teams were divisional opponents, which are never easy.
The offense was being schemed around Trubisky’s strengths and it was working. Unfortunately for him, Matt Nagy had enough of winning and seeing his offense succeed and he wanted more control for the Green Bay Packers game.
