Top to bottom, I really loved what the Chicago Bears did in the 2018 NFL Draft. The first two days were exceptional, and after taking some time to really get to know their day three selections, I think general manager Ryan Pace and his scouting staff deserves to take a bow. The one head-scratcher of a pick that befuddled many Bears’ fans, fourth rounder Joel Iyiegbuniwe, seems like an instant contributor on special teams. I say it every year, I can’t fault a GM for staying true to his board. If Pace felt there was more value in getting another inside linebacker in the fourth, rather that diving down his board to fill a need, I’m fine with that.
