This has to be the most I’ve anticipated a Chicago Bears training camp since the 2006 season. That was year after Lovie Smith had the Bears in the playoffs with an 11-5 record, and his team was led by Brian Urlacher, Charles Tillman, Mike Brown. That team had one of the best defenses in the NFL, and the expectations on the offense taking a step under Rex Grossman had myself, and many fans fired up.
This offseaosn has me excited for a different reason. There is no recent success that gives me hope, rather it’s that I can finally see the end of the tunnel on the Ryan Pace rebuild.
