In what so happens to be a crazy coincidence (not that both teams have been mediocre in their divisions, that’s definitely not it), the Bears play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the fifth straight season this September. There are rivalries in the NFL, and then there’s, well, whatever you call when Chicago and Tampa Bay have sparred of late.
Each of the past two meetings the Bears have had with the Buccaneers have resulted in embarrassing defeats for Chicago (36-10 in 2016, 29-7 in 2017) as they couldn’t quite handle Tampa Bay in the Florida sun.
