After going 3 for 3 on field goals against the Panthers Sunday, including an impressive 55 yarder, Cairo Santos has been named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for Week Six. Santos has been on a roll of late. He’s perfect since Week Four, and kicked a clutch game winner to fell Tom Brady and the Buccaneers in Week Five.
After coming to the Bears as an injury fill in for presumed starter Eddie Pinero, Santos has been solid.
