It’s almost hard to believe, but after an extra-long offseason the Chicago Bears are now only 6 days away from kicking off at Ford Field against the Detroit Lions. Not only will they be taking the field with a fearsome defense featuring Robert Quinn, Khalil Mack, and Akiem Hicks as a 3-headed pass-rushing monster, but they’ll also field an offense led by none other than the newly-named winner of the Bears’ QB competition, Mitchell Trubisky.
But is starting Trubisky (after trading for Nick Foles) the best path forward for the Bears?
