The Chicago Bears announced that they re-signed right tackle Bobby Massie to a four-year deal a little more than a week ago, and now the Chicago Tribune’s Brad Biggs has the contract specifics.
Much like general manager Ryan Pace has done with other financial commitments during his tenure in Chicago, he managed to give a fair deal to Massie, while giving the team a viable way out of the contract if need be.
Biggs is reporting that Massie is actually receiving a 5-year contract worth $40 million and $15.
