LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears receiver Alshon Jeffery practiced on Friday (limited) and is questionable to play against Minnesota on Sunday, along with linebacker Pernell McPhee (knee).
Jeffery was excused from Thursday’s practice because of an illness. He additionally appeared on Wednesday’s injury report with tightness in his calf.
Jeffery is fourth in the NFL with 99.6 receiving yards per game. He caught 10 balls for 116 yards and one touchdown in Chicago’s first meeting with Minnesota on Nov. 1.
McPhee, meanwhile, said on Thursday he expects to be on the field Sunday after sitting out last week due to a bothersome knee injury.
