Rookie receiver Rome Odunze won’t practice Wednesday, Bears coach Matt Eberflus said.
Veteran receiver Keenan Allen won’t practice, either, as the Bears continue to monitor a heel injury that has been bothering him for weeks.
Odunze is day-to-day, Eberflus said, and the injury is “nothing serious.” Odunze’s injury is considered more serious than Allen’s. He suffered a Grade 1 sprain of the MCL in his left knee while blocking in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s opener against the Titans. His leg was rolled up on from behind on a pass to running back Velus Jones; on the next play, Odunze started to limp after blocking during a handoff to D’Andre Swift.
