Wide receiver Anthony Miller and outside linebacker Aaron Lynch returned to practice Monday in a limited role, Bears coach Matt Nagy said.
Miller sprained his ankle in training camp, and. Lynch has been nursing an injured shoulder.
Both players are expected to be available for the Bears’ season opener Sept. 5 against the Packers. The Bears consider the second-year Miller a starter, while Lynch is the primary backup behind Khalil Mack and Leonard Floyd.
Nagy called Miller a “playmaker” when he’s on the field.
“He can make plays and he’s a weapon for us …” Nagy said.
