For the second-straight year, Allen Robinson is a a 1,000-yard receiver.
Sunday against the Texans, the Bears’ receiver surpassed four figures on the season on a 35-yard pass from quarterback Mitch Trubisky on the Bears’ first drive of the third quarter. That brought Robinson to nine catches for 123 yards in the game.
Robinson is the fifth Bears player to post back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, joining Curtis Conway, Marty Booker, Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery.
He’s on pace to surpass last year’s 1,147 yards, his best number as a member of the Bears — and could even push for a career-best total this year.
