The Bears have worked out a group of running backs in the wake of Tarik Cohen’s torn ACL, and among the players they had in was former Pro Bowler Lamar Miller, ESPN’s Field Yates reported on Wednesday.
Miller, 29, was signed by the Patriots in August but failed to make the active roster. Prior to his short-lived stint in New England, he had spent the previous four seasons as the starting running back for the Texans, where he played under current Bears running backs coach Charles London for the first two seasons.
