Only having eight total offensive linemen available at practice today (including the practice squadders) wasn’t the most surprising news for the Chicago Bears, as it was also announced that back up quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is out with a shoulder injury.
He landed awkwardly on his right shoulder on his one play against the Saints, and there no no timetable known at this time for recovery. If Mitch can’t suit up on Sunday that would make Tyler Bray the number two behind starter Nick Foles.
