The Chicago Bears have waived QB Connor Shaw and RB Ka’Deem Carey from injured reserve on Friday, according to Zach Zaidman.
Shaw, 25, wound up signing on with the Browns as an undrafted out of South Carolina last year. He is in the final year of his three-year, $1.53 million rookie contract, which includes a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season.
Unfortunately, Shaw’s 2015 season came to an end with him being placed on season-ending injured reserve after he broke the thumb on his throwing hand during the preseason.
