The Chicago Bears announced Friday that they’ve placed DL Ego Ferguson on waivers.
Ferguson, 25, was taken in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $4,113,203 contract and stands to make a base salary of $793,928 for the 2016 season.
In 2015, Ferguson appeared in four games for the Bears and recorded just three tackles before he was placed on injured reserve.
