The Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions are both out of the playoff picture, and both will close out 2015 with losing records, but both have something significant to play for: Not being in last place in the NFC North.
Each team is currently sitting at 6-9, and one of them will close out the season with double-digit losses and in the basement of the division. Nobody likes last place.
The Detroit Lions won the first match-up between the two teams this season, and when you look at the Bears schedule this season, they've struggled mightily against other NFC teams.
